Plan for the bed in use
A compact frame can still need substantial working space. The Vespa listing gives a 196 × 118cm footprint, including its steps, and a pull-out desk. Its 93cm depth without steps is not the space to use when planning the room. Leave room to use the desk and open storage; those movements are not covered by the basic footprint check.

Match height and mattress to the model
Check overall height, ladder position, the intended user's suitability and the specified mattress dimensions and depth. Consider the ceiling and any slope above the bed, and follow the assembly instructions on positioning. Our finder compares stated dimensions; it does not certify a safe installation or assume a universal clearance.

Read the instructions as well as the description

For example, the Cottage listing describes play space below the bed, but its linked instructions say the area underneath is for storage only. We have held that model out of recommendations pending clarification. Confirm the exact version and its instructions before planning an under-bed play or work area.
