Sleepovers & guests

ReadyBeds

ReadyBeds combine an inflatable mattress with a zip-on sleeping bag, which makes them a favourite for sleepovers and trips. Start with the model — My First or Junior — and the size, then choose the character. Similar air bed and sleeping bag sets from other brands are listed too, each under its own maker’s name.

Prices and availability come from each retailer’s product feed or listing and were last checked 28 September 2026. They can change at any time — the retailer’s site is always the final word. We don’t show Amazon prices; follow the link to see the current price. Featured order favours listings with more options and fuller details; it isn’t a quality ranking and no retailer pays for placement.

Researched comparison — not hands-on testing

ReadyBeds: compare the model before the character

A practical comparison of size, packing and cleaning details for selected ReadyBed models.

Start with the model and size

The character on the cover does not tell you the bed's size. In our checked listings, Paw Patrol and Bluey belong to the My First ReadyBed family and both have a listed length of 130cm. The Pokémon listing is 150cm long. Match the retailer product number when comparing offers so that a larger model is not mistaken for a different print.

Check the facts that affect a trip

Compare packed size, weight, whether a pump is included and how the cover is cleaned. All three checked listings include a pump, but the wash temperatures differ: 30°C for the two My First listings and 40°C for this Pokémon listing. Follow the label on the product you receive. We have not timed inflation, tested comfort or checked overnight air retention.

What still needs confirming

Argos labels the width as width at chest. We therefore do not use it as a guaranteed maximum inflated footprint in the room-fit finder. Confirm the full inflated dimensions, intended use and current age guidance before buying; the Bluey page contains conflicting age statements. These products should not be treated as infant cots. For a baby, follow current safer-sleep guidance on an appropriate separate sleep space.

Before you buy

What to check on any ReadyBed

  • My First ReadyBeds are the smaller model; Junior ReadyBeds are longer — check the length against your child’s height.
  • Check whether a pump is included and how the cover washes.
  • Designs change often: confirm the exact model and size on the listing.
  • Other brands’ sets are usually sized like the Junior ReadyBed (about 150 × 62cm) — compare the inflated size rather than the name.
