Shnuggle Air bedside crib: original-model instructions and parts

This entry concerns the original Shnuggle Air Bedside Crib. The separately named Air Lite has its own instructions. Use the product label and Shnuggle’s official manual library to identify the correct version.

For an existing or second-hand crib

The Air manual provides an illustrated parts list. Check the original fittings and both attachment straps, and ask Shnuggle about anything missing. It specifies a mattress recommended for this product and warns against adding another mattress.

The crib stage ends when the baby can sit, kneel or pull up; the manual also states a 9 kg limit. Conversion to a cot is a separate configuration, not permission to keep using an outgrown crib.

Bedside use is not an open-sided bed

Keep the side secured up when the baby is unsupervised. Confirm the exact bed and attachment arrangement using the complete manual. Lullaby Trust guidance recommends a flat sleep surface.
