A swinging crib, a rocking stand and a baby bouncer are different products. If you are buying a place for a baby to sleep, check the stated intended use and instructions rather than assuming that a soothing movement makes it suitable.

Identify the movement and the stopping mechanism

Ask the retailer to show how the crib is secured in its fixed position and when the manufacturer requires it to be locked. Check whether the movement is permitted only in stand-alone mode and whether a bedside attachment changes the instructions. Do not use a rocking or swinging claim from a different model.
