Venture Hush bedside crib: safety notice and buying checks

Check the model and manufacturing date before using or buying an older Venture Hush. Venture’s April 2020 safety notice concerns models V345 and V346 manufactured between 1 March and 1 October 2019. This page is a document-based guide, not a hands-on review.

What the safety notice says

The notice identifies a stability risk in stand-alone use when the spring-loaded feet are not fully extended. It also tells owners to confirm that the refitted dropside engages with a click and to check its stability. The listed barcodes are 0634114015379 and 0634114015362. This is a notice for specified models and production dates. It does not establish that every product currently sold under the Hush name is affected, or that a particular used crib has been corrected.

Features are not a safety verdict

The manufacturer’s Hush listing describes height adjustment, a dropside, a storage tray and rocking. We have not established that its current specifications apply to every older Hush version. Match the product label to its own instructions rather than relying on a shared product name or an old award.

Bedside setup and sleep position

Confirm the permitted adult-bed arrangement and use limits in the exact manual. The Lullaby Trust advises keeping the sleep surface flat; tilting a crib is not a reflux or colic recommendation.
