Kids Beds UK brings together current listings from UK retailers and explains what to check before you buy. Here is how the information on the site is produced.
Retailer listings
Category pages list products from retailer product feeds and hand-checked listings. Names, photos, prices, options and descriptions are the retailer’s own. We only keep items the feed marks as in stock, and we show the date each price was checked. We don’t add dimensions, ratings or stock information that a retailer hasn’t published.
We leave out products that conflict with UK safer-sleep guidance for babies, such as cot bumpers, baby pillows and sleep positioners.
Featured order
“Featured” order favours listings with more options and more complete information, then sorts around the typical price for that category. It is not a quality ranking, and no retailer pays for placement.
Measured footprints
For the bed-fit finder we check the exact model against the retailer listing and the manufacturer’s instructions. External dimensions describe the full frame or footprint where stated; mattress dimensions describe a different measurement. When a listing and manual disagree, we flag the conflict and hold the product out of fit results. A result means the checked dimensions fit the numbers entered; it does not verify room access, assembly, clearance, age suitability or a safe installation.
Research and testing
Our comparisons are researched, not hands-on tests. We do not award imported expert scores or present customer ratings as our own assessment. Older articles carry their original dates and an archive notice until they are reviewed.
